Emu
Emu is a rare animal. It looks and tastes like beef, and is similar to ostrich in taste. It’s extremely low in calories, fat and cholesterol. Emu is healthier to eat than chicken based on fat, cholesterol, and calories. Emu is 100% natural due to how it is raised using no hormones or steroids. Emu’s are extremely tender and their meat melts in your mouth, they also lay eggs which can be eaten just like hen eggs. Comparable to a hen egg, an emu egg contains 10 times the amount of substance. This exotic meat is best eaten at a medium rare tenderness.
Emu’s are native to Australia. It is a bird slightly under the size of an ostrich. The emu has given many people food through the years in Australia. These birds have been domesticated to the US so the US citizens can eat their meat. As a result, this animal is an easy transition to exotic and organic meat. As with our other exotic meat, Emu is easiest found online at Fossil Farms
