Another delicious type of shellfish is clams. These are a very versatile shellfish, and can be cooked in many ways, or added to many dishes. For example, clams can taste delicious in a Fra diavolo, in a white wine sauce or in a New England Clam Chowder . Maybe I’m just bias, but after going to school outside of Boston I love chowder. Its to a point where I can barely eat it outside of New England. I finally found a place to get chowder made in New England to my door immediately, as well as delicious steamers from Maine. This Chowda is actually delicious. It reminds me of one of my favorite restaurants up near college I used to eat at every week. I hope you decide to try the chowda because its truly delicious.
Obviously there are other ways to eat clams as mentioned above. The following is a recipe for clams:
Clam Imperial Recipe

25 clams, shucked and washed
1 pint half and half cream
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons butter
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon sherry
1/2 cup bread crumbs
Drain clams; chop or grind clams until fine. Put in casserole dish. Make a cream sauce with milk, flour, butter, egg yolk and sherry. Pour sauce over clams. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees until golden brown (approximately 20 minutes). Serves 5 people.
